Purple Star Schools

Utah has joined a growing number of states throughout the nation to recognize Purple Star Schools – schools that go the extra mile to provide smooth transitions for military families. 

Alpine School District has eight Purple Star Schools. We celebrate schools who embrace the spirit of the Purple Star Schools program and recognize how the program helps all students achieve the Vision for Learning. 

Purple Star Schools in Alpine School District

Schools earn the prestigious Purple Star designation with the following: 

  1. Staff point of contact for military students and families. 
  2. Dedicated page on the school website. 
  3. Student-led transition program. This group will be responsible for welcoming new military-connected students and making them feel part of the school community. It can be an existing group at your school. 
  4. Professional development for additional staff on special considerations for military students and families. 
  5. Military or Veteran appreciation event or Resolution publicizing support for military students and families.

Steps to Register

01.

View the Clear Creek Camp Schedule in the “Registration FAQs” document. We recommend selecting a few dates in case your first choice sells out.

02.

Once registration is open, click “Eventbrite Registration” and select the date of your choice.

03.

Fill in all requested student registration information and pay the required registration fee.

04.

Complete Student Information & Health Form.
