A.L.L. and DLI Program Studies

As part of the Alpine School District’s ongoing efforts to provide the best educational opportunities for our students, we are currently conducting a formal study that may involve school closures, boundary changes, and the creation of a new dual language immersion magnet school. We are carefully considering several important factors in this process:

  • Enrollment Trends: Current and projected student numbers across schools.
  • School Capacity: How well schools can accommodate students under possible changes.
  • Financial Considerations: Costs and savings associated with these decisions.
  • Educational Impact: How these changes might affect students’ academic programs and resources.
  • Community Impact: The effect on the local community, school culture, and family engagement.
  • Transportation Needs: Potential changes to student transportation and commute times.
  • Staffing: The potential impact on teacher and staff placement or employment.
  • Equity and Access: Ensuring all students have fair access to quality education.

Your feedback is critical in helping us make decisions that reflect the needs and values of our community. We invite you to share your thoughts on how these potential changes may affect your family, your children, and the community as a whole.
