How Does My Child Log In?

The purpose of this section is to help you get your student logged into the various applications and digital tools that Alpine School District uses.

At Alpine School District we have a variety of hardware in the schools from iPads, desktops, and laptops.  However, Chromebooks are the primary source for technology hardware in the district.  In the event that schools check out technology to students for home use, it will be Chromebooks that are checked out.

Alpine School District is a Google for Education District.  Each student in the district has a Google account created for them upon enrolling in Kindergarten.  Email (Gmail) becomes active on their account when they reach 3rd Grade.  This Google account allows students to access multiple Google applications and use ‘single sign on’ with their Google account to access other District Supported Solutions.  For the safety of students, this account has limitations on who they can email and what they can do.

Your student’s Google account looks like an email address ending with @alpinesd.org. The password and other details for this account can be obtained by contacting your student’s school.

Student Portal for Learning

Students have access to a portal in which resources are posted for their use.  The portal is called Clever.  In some schools, Clever is populated when the student logs in.  In other situations, students can access the portal by entering the URL into a browser.  This portal allows students to access the digital tools that they use in school.
