Dear Parents,

A formal study of a potential boundary adjustment between Lehi Junior, Viewpoint Middle, and Willowcreek Middle schools was approved at the Alpine School District Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. It is anticipated that the study will last through May 2022 when the Board will review the study and consider future action.

The purpose of the study is to consider changing one or more areas to balance enrollment. Currently, there are 1,717 students enrolled at Viewpoint, 1671 students enrolled at Willowcreek, and 1004 students enrolled at Lehi Junior. Within the next 5 years, the enrollment at Lehi Junior is projected to decrease to 939, while Viewpoint and Willowcreek are projected to increase.

Once the committee meets and creates proposals, information will be shared with all patrons and various opportunities will be held to provide feedback. We will keep you updated once these opportunities are scheduled.

Thank you for your support as we strive to meet the learning needs of students in Lehi.

Eagle Valley & Mountain Trails Elementary Schools Boundary Study

September 28, 2021

Dear Parents,

A formal study of a boundary adjustment between Eagle Valley and Mountain Trails elementary schools was approved at the Alpine School District Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. This boundary adjustment continues under study.

Mountain Trails enrollment continues to grow rapidly and a boundary adjustment could help mitigate the current growth. The purpose of the study is to consider changing one or more areas currently within Mountain Trails to Eagle Valley. The attached map shows some of these potential areas and the number of students (K-5) that could be impacted. Currently, there are 1,095 students enrolled at Mountain Trails and 841 students enrolled at Eagle Valley.

Once the committee meets and creates proposals, information will be shared with all patrons and various opportunities will be held to provide feedback. We will keep you updated once these opportunities are scheduled.

Thank you for your support as we strive to meet the learning needs of students in Eagle Mountain.
