Alpine Foundation – Payroll Deduction Program

Teachers and staff making charitable donations to support the educational programs for students
The Alpine Foundation-sponsored Payroll Deduction Program provides the Alpine District staff an opportunity to make a monthly tax-deductible, charitable donation. These funds are used
to enhance the educational program for students. They are used to enrich classroom and school activities. These donors truly go “above and beyond the call of duty” to support the education of the youth. They give back part of their salary to benefit the students.  Donation Form
Contributions through this program are directed to individual schools, classrooms, scholarships, activities, and Foundation programs. Items such as computers, books and classroom supplies are made possible by these donations.
As of February 2006, 61% of the contracted teachers and staff in Alpine School District were participating in the Payroll Deduction program. Counting those participants who are not assigned to schools, the membership in this charitable venture has reached 1,914.
Payroll Deduction
Participants give of their money for a charitable purpose: helping students. Â All donations become the property of Alpine School District and the Alpine Foundation.
This is the one charity that allows its donors to have some control over how their contributions are spent. Â All items purchased by payroll deduction funds become the property of Alpine School District, and they are used to enhance the educational program for the students.
A tax-deductible receipt, indicating their total donation for the calendar year, is provided for each participant.
